The Borough of Shippingport is governed by an elected body consisting of seven elected officials, each serving a four year term.
The Borough Council meets on a monthly basis to conduct business on behalf of the Borough. General Meeting: 1st Tuesday, 7 p.m.; Work Sessions: 3rd Monday, 7 p.m., as needed.
Meetings are held at the Municipal Building, 164 S.R. 3016, Shippingport, PA 15077.
All meetings of the Council are open to the public with an opportunity at each meeting for public comment.
